YMCA Camp Chingachgook is part of the Capital District YMCA and offers a variety of positions throughout the year. We are a community of dynamic outdoor leaders who foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Give Back
There are many opportunities to help YMCA Camp Chingachgook provide enriching outdoor experiences to all people, regardless of their age, ability, or finance. In addition to dedicated volunteer work weekends, we also provide opportunities for people to support Camp and stay involved all year! We always need volunteers to tackle all kinds of necessary jobs such as, trail maintenance, historical archive preservation, painting, cleaning up the grounds, and help with special programs like Y-Knot Sailing or joining one of the committees for our council of advisors.

We also rely on the support of our donors. Each year, our committed donors help us raise charitable dollars to provide scholarships to campers, support our Alumni committee and preserve the timeless appeal of Chingachgook as well as its growth through capital projects.
